Once again, Protium Innovations LLC (Protium) had the great pleasure of being represented by Washington State University (WSU) student volunteers Bailee DePhelps and Mitchell Scott.  This time the competition was the WSU Business Plan Competition and Protium fared much better, having learned from previous mistakes. After making a second seed position into the presentation round of competition, Mitchell and Bailee had an extremely successful day pitching. By the end of presentations on April 22, Protium had won $2,500 merit prizes for both best written plan and best presentation, as well as secured a berth in the final round the next day. Protium placed second in the final round, securing $10,000 in winnings. For more information on the competition, see the competition website.

We’d like to thank the hard work the organizers at WSU put into making the competition, as well as the competition sponsors who made it all possible. Thanks again to Bailee and Mitchell for all their hard work and dedication, we wouldn’t have been able to compete without them.

Mitchell and Bailee gave a wonderful interview about their experiences with entrepreneurship, including representing Protium to the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture at WSU. See the interview embedded below.
