Protium Innovations had the pleasure of being represented by a two student volunteers, Mitchell Scott and Bailee DePhelps, at the University of Washington’s Eighth Annual Environmental Innovation Challenge (UW EIC) sponsored by Alaska Airlines. After an initial submission to the competition, we were selected as one of 24 teams from 8 universities that were selected as finalists. We, along with the other finalists, presented our pitch and business plan on March 31st, 2016. While we were not crowned winners at the competition, we we able to gain some valuable expert insight to further polish our pitch and business plans.

We’d like to thank the University of Washington, in particular the Arthur W. Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship of the Michael G. Foster School of Business for hosting the competition. Thanks also to the sponsors of the competition – it wouldn’t happen without your support! Most importantly, thanks to our wonderful volunteers, Mitchell and Bailee for putting in the work to represent us at the competition while we were all busy trying to make it happen.
